Very Quiet. We use a DC brushless motor that is only 25db at 1-2 air speeds, 35db at 3-4 air speeds, and 45db at 5-6 air speeds.

5. Can this fan light be installed outdoors?

No. This ceiling light is not waterproof and cannot be installed outdoors.
